Class is primarily determined by one's relationship to the means of production (the resources needed to produce goods, like factories and land).

Main Classes:

• Bourgeoisie: The owners of the means of production (capitalists).
• Proletariat: The workers who must sell their labor to the bourgeoisie to survive.
